As part of the post–World Food Day 2025 celebrations, Royco has today held a community activation at Kawempe Referral Hospital, focusing on promoting nutrition, flavorful cooking, and sustainable diets under the global theme “Global collaboration to create a sustainable and food-secure future.”
The activity brought together health workers, patients, caregivers, and members of the surrounding community to celebrate the role of nutrition in advancing better health and well-being.
Through live cooking demonstrations, nutritional meal education, and Royco cube sampling, the event showcased how healthy meals can remain rich in flavor and affordable for everyday families.
The activation emphasized that while healthy food is often perceived as bland, Royco makes it both tasty and flavorful - and is fortified with iron and iodine, helping families achieve better nutrition without compromising on taste.
By bringing this celebration to Kawempe Referral Hospital, Royco is emphasizing the close link between food and health and reinforcing its commitment to working with communities to promote better nutrition and wellbeing.
This activation underscores Royco’s position not only as a flavor enhancer but as a nutrition and wellness partner supporting Uganda’s broader efforts toward improved public health and sustainable food practices.
Royco is one of Uganda’s most trusted food brands, known for bringing rich taste and nutrition to family meals. With a long-standing focus on quality, fortification, and wellness, Royco continues to empower communities to cook better and live healthier — one meal at a time.
